The Brunner Family



The Brunner family originally came from Lützelflüh (Luetzelflueh), but had married and lived in Munzingen, Switzerland. In 1894 they left from Bern, Switzerland for New York City via Antwerp. From New York City, they made their way to Rye, Lount Township, Parry Sound, Ontario.

arrow In this picture is Jacob Brunner and his second wife, Maria Stucki. They came from Munzingen, Switzerland and immigrated to Canada in 1894 with children Elizabeth, Herman, Bertha, Ernest, Lydia and Otto. They landed in New York April 1894 on a boat called Westernland owned by the Red Star Line.
